We offer both in-person and online sessions at our Arlington, VA, office. Outside VA, we provide virtual therapy. Our goal is to offer our clients the greatest level of convenience. Studies have shown that virtual therapy is as efficacious as in-person therapy for the majority of people.

You can reschedule at least 48 business hours prior to your appointment to avoid payment. Any cancelation or rescheduling within 48 business hours will be charged the full amount.

You have the option to complete a short questionnaire before every visit so we can together track how your symptoms improve and how well the treatment is addressing your concerns. You will receive an email with the link that takes you to the questionnaire.

We accept Aetna in Virginia, Washington DC, and New York. We also take Georgetown University student health insurance (UnitedHealthcare Student Resources).

Group counseling is a type of therapy in which a group of people meets weekly to discuss their thoughts and concerns. A therapist or a pair of therapists (co)lead(s) the group by helping to facilitate these discussions. Group members use feedback from other group members to develop new perspectives and reflect on their experiences. Some groups offer skills and tools while others are less structured, giving group members the time and space to explore ideas, develop insight and understand more about oneself and others.

Many emotional problems are interpersonal in nature. Group therapy can provide a safe space to work on interpersonal conflicts, learning to reduce social anxiety or building new coping strategies. It offers the opportunity to understand more about how you relate to others through specific feedback and observations.
